Cornetts
Venetian Cornetto in G
Our standard cornetto in G is based on a Venetian instrument made between the 16th and 17th centuries, now preserved in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Nuremberg (No. MIR 42).
Combining technical drawings with X-ray photographs, we have developed a model that faithfully reflects the original design, but is available at either A=440 Hz (standard Renaissance pitch) or A=415 Hz (standard Baroque pitch), ensuring versatility and practicality for performers.

German Cornettino (Quartzink) in C
In addition to our cornetto in G, we also offer a cornettino (Quartzink) in C, based on a German original from the 16th–17th century and preserved in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Nuremberg (No. MI 122).
Also this model was developed using a combination of technical drawings and X-ray photographs, ensuring a faithful reproduction of the historical design. We offer it exclusively at A=440 Hz, making it ideally suited for Renaissance repertoire.
